Sustainability at Bun

Made in Los Angeles. From Fabric to Finished Garment.

BUN Maternity takes a different approach to making nursing clothes. Our signature nursing T-shirts, nursing tank tops, and sweatshirts are made in Los Angeles, where we keep much of the production process close to home.

Our fabric is knitted in Los Angeles, then our garments are cut, sewn, washed, and garment dyed in Los Angeles as well.

Keeping these steps within the same region means a shorter journey between our fabric and production partners and gives us closer oversight of how our clothing is made.

We don't believe sustainability needs to be a buzzword. For BUN, it's about making thoughtful choices we can stand behind: domestic manufacturing, local production, quality materials, and clothing designed to be worn again and again.

If there wasn't this care... then it would be easy to make this apparel overseas... but it's not.

Why We Make BUN in Los Angeles

Local Fabric
Our signature fabrics are knitted right here in Los Angeles.

Local Manufacturing
BUN garments are cut, sewn, washed, and garment dyed in Los Angeles.

A Shorter Production Journey
Keeping fabric and garment production close together helps reduce the distance materials travel between manufacturing steps.

Made in USA
We're proud to support American manufacturing and make our signature nursing apparel in Los Angeles.

Made to Be Worn Beyond Nursing
Our nursing clothes are designed to become everyday favorites—not disposable pieces for a single stage of motherhood. The goal is clothing you'll continue reaching for during pregnancy, breastfeeding, pumping, and long after.

Responsible Production, Without the Greenwashing

We won't tell you that making clothing has no environmental impact—it does. Instead, we focus on the parts of our production we can control: where our fabric is made, where our garments are manufactured, and how long we hope you'll love and wear them.

That's the BUN approach: local, thoughtful, high-quality clothing made for real motherhood.
